Asif Ali Zardari moves into President House







ISLAMABAD:President-elect Asif Ali Zardari Monday moved into the President House, along with his two daughters Bakhtawar and Asefa, a day ahead of assuming the office of President. Zardari, who won the presidential election on September 6 will take oath of his office on Tuesday. He was shifted to the Prime Minister owing to serious security concerns a few weeks back.
On Sunday Zardari’s family and party workers held a Quran khawani at the President House to seek blessings of Allah Almighty and help him in overcome the great challenges that the country faces.
Zardari was greeted at the President House by the staff of the President House. A copy of Holy Quran was held high as he walked under it to enter the grandest building on the Constitution Avenue along with his daughters.
A couple of black goats were also sacrificed as ‘sadqa’.
